Sand Media Filter Type of media used in this process are sand, pebbles and gravels. They remove impurities having size greater than 50 micron, dust and other suspended particles. 2. Carbon Media Filter Activated carbon is used in this process for the removal of colour, odour, chlorine particles and organic impurities. 3. Micron Filter It removes suspended particles having size greater than 5 micron. 4. Reverse Osmosis In this process raw water passes through membranes to remove physical and chemical impurities present in terms of total dissolved solids. 5. Ultra Voilet Treatment This process deactivates the bacteria if present in the water. 6. Ozonization This is a process of adding Ozone to the treated water thereby increasing its shelf life
